Making weird puzzle games in Aotearoa / New Zealand.

Solve physics puzzles with magnets, springs, fans, and more while your new best friend Sendy helps you along the way! But maybe keep an eye on him, he’s been acting a little strange…
From the brains of a designer and artist duo on the indie gem Mini Motorways comes Shape Sender Deluxe! What started as a little puzzle two-person side-project has evolved into a fully fledged narrative puzzle experience with a talented team.
About Us
From the talent pool of Dinosaur Polo Club (Mini Metro, Mini Motorways) comes Dead Teapot, a studio of skilled game developers established in 2024.
Founded by Tana Tanoi (Mini Motorways), Dead Teapot brings together talent from around New Zealand, including the artistic vision of Poppy de Raad (Mini Motorways), the narrative design of Saf Davidson (Necrobarista, Before We Leave) and the aural excellence of Finn Mitchell-Anyon (Trigger Witch, Droplets).

Tana
Director
With work on games like Mini Motorways & Mini Metro and a love for playful physics and subversive storytelling, it's no surprise Tana ended up directing Shape Sender Deluxe. His designs focus around creativity and interesting solutions to anything.

Poppy
Art Director
Colorful, cute, and abstract styles drove Poppy's work on concept art for Mini Motorways, and their influence on Shape Sender Deluxe's distinct style is everywhere in the game as the art director.

Finn
Audio Engineer
A musician, game music composer, and programmer, Finn is a powerhouse in the convergence of sound and technology. Weaving dynamic, interactive sonic experiences that evolve with user input is his brand, with history in the adaptive soundtrack of Trigger Witch and the playful sequencing of Droplets.

Saf
Narrative Designer
An award-winning narrative designer, Saf has written and edited countless games, including Necrobarista, Before We Leave, and the critically-acclaimed Amarantus. With a knack for strong character voice and empathetic design, she has experience working across multiple mediums even outside of games, including audio dramas, prose, and comics.
